The Biological Sciences Section (BioSci) is one of GSA’s six membership groups that members can select for primary or secondary affiliation.
Disciplines and Professions that Affiliate with BioSci
Researchers and professionals with interests in the biological processes that underlie aging. Biological Sciences Section membership is multidisciplinary and includes individuals with interests varying from understanding molecular alterations that feature in the aging process to persons studying evolutionary forces that determine longevity differences among species.
Volunteer Opportunities
The BioSci section provides members at all career stages various ways to contribute to the section, including participating on awards and fellows selection panels, and serving in section leadership roles. Learn more about volunteer opportunities here.
Engagement Activities
The BioSci section organizes several virtual programs during the year. In-person networking and programming also occurs at the GSA Annual Scientific Meeting
